- Hey guys im going to purchase an AEM EMS ECU this week but im knew with the MR2 stuff. I bought the car from someone and supposaly this has a 1993 jdm motor/trans/lsd/ecu/wireharness. My question is do i order a AEM EMS ecu for a 1993 mr2 turbo ? Is it the same thing as the JSPEC one ? Does it matter if i say 1993 or 1991 are the AEM EMS ecu
