Decades ago there was a mod to the AFM that I don’t see nowadays. The mod is predicated on the AFM “door” that swings open by the rush of incoming air thru the interior body. As the door is forced open by the incoming air the arm rotates on a disc which has segments of increasing signals to match increasing air flow.
