The warning light that triggered this quest was the right side light of what the forum calls the 3 lights (Sisters?) of Death in the Mark 1 electrical system. Seeing the right hand Sister was not as bad as the family. In 32 years of ownership it never lit up. I must note that I have gotten 437K out of the OEM side fan relay (in trunk) that came with my new car purchase back in
