This is a Phenolic resin TVIS eliminator plate made my Manjit Gosal. Phenolic resin will block the transfer of heat from the head to the intake manifold and dramtically drop your intake temp. For those of you who are considering spending MANY hours (or CASH) gutting the TVIS to increase intake flow, here
