About 2 months ago my beloved MR2 Turbo starting running horribly. It was almost as if it was running in limp mode. I was dumbfounded. I had no idea what could have caused this, and and every so often she would actually run fine. What was happening is that she ran so rich that black smoke would pour out of the exhaust, and under throttle she would misfire and you could hear the engine about to lock up with too much fuel.
