So my engine has a bad ignitor. They are hard to find and very expensive. If I can find a 7MGTE ignitor I can rewire it to work. But will most likely still be over $100. I would like to bypass the the stock coil and ignitor and just put some 2zz-fe COP coil in. I figure the wiring going to the stock ignitor can be split off and can be ran to each COP. Is it that simple or am I missing something? Someday I would like to go stand alone but even the cheapest option is north of $500 with
