A few months ago i pulled my 4a out of my mr2 in order to fix oil leak, replace intake manifold, check clutch since my 2nd gear was grinding. Ever since i installed the engine back in. Its super boggy under any kind of load. While in neutral idle is at 900 or so and throttle response is quick. Throw it into reverse everything is fine. Put it into 1st gear and bogs. Exhaust says its at 7000k but its really at 1500. Its an 1985 with 214k on original motor. Things that i have replaced. Intake
