I installed my gen3 3sgte into a nonturbo chassis (which previously had a gen2) 3 years ago. Initially the motor ran at about 12 V, which is lower than normal, but it still ran strong and good. At about the 2 year mark, it started to have electrical issues. Wipers would go off randomly, and car would struggle to start (just cranking). A few months later, the car would shut off randomly when coming to a stop. I would have to wait a while for it to start back up. When it did, it ran perfectly
