1986 Sunroof car...Seal needed! [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

When the sunroof is taken out of the car, there is a metal pinch weld that I am certain should have a seal there (The sunroof panel rides against this, along the inside of the opening of the sunroof). The TSRM says it is removable. I have a lot of wind noise from the sunroof and there is a lot of play; when sitting in the car, I can push the entire sunroof up about an eighth of an inch. At highway speeds, the pressure holds it down but there is a lot of road noise. Does anyone have a seal
