Help with Engine! [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I have a 2000 mr2 with a 1zz motor. I just rebuilt it, and put about 2000km (about 1240miles) on it and i found out that the oil was Milky (picture as reference) 37000 I understand that water (Used as my coolent) has maken its way into the block most likley a blown head gasket. I was wonder two things. 1. Any spicifics to how this happened? (Any ideas why this happened) 2. Am i able to take the head gasket off the engine witout having to drop the motor. Thankyou for your help
