- I recently purchased a 1986 MK1a MR2 with a manual gearbox and no frills interior. I already have a 1987 MK1b with an auto and power windows, locks, etc. I was actually happy to not have power windows or door locks but when I started the drive home, I realized that I could not lock the MR2 doors! What?!? The passenger door key does not match the rest of the car. I had to take the paperwork out of the car and put it into the chase vehicle when we would stop for meals. Also with the A/C not
