rusted, thing, stick, suspension, upgrade, bought, clean, issue, inside, rear

i just bought a 93 mr2 very clean inside and out only issue i have is most of the rear suspension is rusted whats the best thing i should do should i stick with oem or just upgrade everything. thank you for all your help.
